Nick Stimler is from Northeast Ohio. He graduated with honors from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and an Arts Management Minor.
Nick has over a decade of work experience in commercial and nonprofit sectors of the performing arts industry. He has worked on award-winning projects with celebrated artists on Broadway, nationwide and internationally.
Nick is passionate about efficiently connecting audiences with unique content experiences. His professional interests include: innovation, business operations, customer engagement, marketing, live events, performing arts and musical theatre.

WORK
Served as the Associate Artistic Director at The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT. Line produced the Showcase 61 new music series and other events in the UpStage venue. Worked with community partners to present Black Cultural FEST 2016 and the Greater Stamford Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2015. Line produced fundraisers and oversaw key aspects of customer relationship management. Brought the touring cast of STOMP to a local middle school, and facilitated an art exhibition celebrating area women artists.
Taught Script Analysis as an Instructor to First Year Students at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Course Description: examines the structure of dramatic text from an actor's perspective, including theme, plot, scene construction, action and dialogue, while fostering the actor's ability to create rich and full characters. Students also integrate acting techniques with script analysis principles, which produce effective storytelling.
Managed literary submissions and supervised casting as Literary and Casting Director at Ford's Theatre Society. Provided dramaturgical resources to creative personnel and audiences. Created and managed a special event series in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town.
Directed Knowing Mrs. Mayfield and The Anniversary by dramatist Drew Larimore. The Anniversary was published by Vintage in the anthology Shorter, Faster, Funnier: Comic Plays and Monologues. Both one-act plays featured original music compositions by Vicente Chavarria and production photos by Konrad Brattke.
Worked with Broadway Director and Choreographer Jeff Calhoun on projects including, but not limited to: Bonnie & Clyde, The Tony Award® winning musical Disney’s Newsies, Disney's High School Musical: On Stage, Deaf West Theatre and CTG’s Pippin and the 1st National Tour of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5: the musical.
